Screw Classifiers
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Shree Hari Krupa Engineering – Screw Classifiers
The SHKE Classifiers are used for washing and dewatering pulps and in closed circuit grinding. The SHKE Classifier is available in a wide range of diameters and pitches, tank shapes and lengths, allowing exact compliance with each user's classification requirements.
Washing is the primary function of Fine Material Washers and is accomplished by the continuous rotation of the conveyor shaft and the velocity of the overflowing waste water acting on the feed material. The rotating shaft causes the feed material to roll and tumble, which in turn provides particle on particle attrition. This action allows deleterious coatings to be removed from the sand product and discharged with the overflowing waste water.
The spiral classifier is regarded as the spiral ore discharging device. The spiral classifier usually forms a semicircular sink through the upper and lowers bearing portion, the drive means and the elevating mechanism of the spiral axis. The pulp after fine grinding is sent to the sink through the feed opening. The lower end of the sink with the inclined installation is the pulp classification sedimentation area. The spiral rotates with low speed and the pulp should be stirred so that most of light fine particles can suspend in the above to flow the side weir at overflow and become the overflow. In the beneficiation process, the heavy particles settle on the bottom and become the mineral sand (coarse sand). The mineral sand is sent to the discharge opening by the screw conveyor.
